As a therapist and clinical supervisor, she brings a grounded, creative approach—drawing on dreams, imagery, and personal narrative to help clients make sense of their suffering and reconnect with their inner life. Before becoming a therapist, Hadley spent over a decade living and working in Europe as a photographer and documentary filmmaker. Her background in visual storytelling continues to inform her therapeutic lens, bringing attunement to the emotional layers of her clients' stories and the meaning that lives beneath the surface.

Jenna Pfefferle

Jenna is a psychotherapist who believes deeply in the instincts of the human spirit to move toward wholeness. An alumna of Pacifica Graduate Institute, her research includes the publication of a master’s thesis on dissociation, The Poetics of Fugue as Autonomous Complex. Driven by a passionate hunger to understand the human psyche, she draws from a wide range of sources—literature, philosophy, poetry, social movements and the natural world—to inform her work. Her therapeutic style emphasizes honoring the intelligence in our symptoms, and entering bravely into the meaning of one’s longings. She finds beauty and enrichment in the heartaches that bring us to therapy, even those that appear at the fringes of human experience.

Jenna worked as an advertising producer in Los Angeles for a decade. Through this work she discovered her greatest fulfillment came from supporting the people on her teams—listening, problem-solving, and meeting needs with care and collaboration. She developed herself as a creative anchor, skilled at creating a container where one’s creative process can unfold and come to fruition

A.J. Mars spent a decade writing stories for animation, comic books, and video games, including the Peabody Award-winning series Stillwater, before training as a psychotherapist. That instinct for narrative now shapes how he works with clients: paying close attention to the stories they tell about themselves, and where those stories might be ready to change.

A graduate of Pacifica Graduate Institute with an M.A. in Counseling Psychology, A.J. draws on psychodynamic, Jungian, and somatic approaches in his work with individuals and couples. He has particular experience supporting clients around intimacy and relationships, as well as working with trauma, life transitions, creative blocks, and questions of identity.
